Movement Monday
Teamwork Tuesday
Our Junior and Senior Infants had a brilliant time at a Stretch n Grow workshop on Teamwork Tuesday.
1st to 6th class took part in our annual team-building afternoon on Teamwork Tuesday. They divided into their coloured groups for Sports Day and there were two 6th class captains for each colour. They did activities such as electric fence, circle football, pass the beanbag and pass the hoop. Brilliant teamwork on show from the six teams!
War on Wednesday
For War on Wednesday, our 5th and 6th classes took part in a kickboxing workshop, which they thoroughly enjoyed! We learnt the importance of discipline as well as fitness. In the afternoon, our 6th class took on the staff in our annual dodgeball match! It was another close contest but in the deciding game, 6th class came out on top!
Take a Break Thursday
On Take a Break Thursday, our infants went over on a walk to the field where they brought some games and enjoyed some fresh air. 1st and 2nd enjoyed some yoga.
4th class walked up to the fairy fort on the Enniskerry Road and 5th and 6th walked all the way down to Fernhill. It was a lovely way to spend the day and get the steps in!
